Campus Community,

I am pleased to welcome Jennifer Rodgers to Oklahoma City University as our chief of police. Chief Rodgers comes to OCU with 28 years of experience in law enforcement and a strong connection to Oklahoma City University.

She has held a variety of positions with the Oklahoma City Police Department, most recently serving as a lieutenant in the operations bureau at the Springlake Division. She has also held positions with the department in communications, investigations, and administrations.

An alumna, Rodgers holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration from OCU and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement from Texas State University. In addition to earning her graduate degree at OCU, Chief Rodgers taught as an adjunct instructor in our criminal justice program from 2004 to 2005.

I am delighted to welcome Chief Rodgers back to the OCU campus. Her accomplishments since that time have been very impressive. Her experience, leadership, and dedication to OCU’s mission will serve the campus community well.

I invite the campus to attend the swearing in ceremony for Chief Rodgers at 2 p.m. Jan. 29 in the Great Hall. A reception will follow the swearing in ceremony. I hope you can take a few minutes to meet Chief Rodgers and welcome her to campus.

Sincerely,
